AARO — All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office

AARO is the U.S. Department of Defense office tasked with collecting, investigating, and adjudicating reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) across air, sea, space, and trans-medium domains. In this archive AARO is the receiving authority for nearly every modern submission: operational units (USCENTCOM, USINDOPACOM, FBI, NASA, Department of State) send sensor footage, photographs, and 302 interview transcripts to AARO; AARO reviews them and releases the records in tranches like the May 2026 batch covered here. The numbered DOW-UAP-PRn 'Unresolved UAP Report' series consists of submissions AARO declined to definitively identify — a status reflecting the limits of available evidence, not an analytical judgment.
